The primary purpose of the AAM ecosystem working groups is to share input, information and opinions that may help to accelerate the development of safe, high-volume AAM flight operations in the existing and anticipated future national airspace system.

The Crosscutting Working Group focuses on providing guidance, standards, and requirements for key elements that pertain to all five pillars, including safety, security, autonomy, affordability, the National Campaign, and the UAM Community Concept of Operations.

NATA's newest committee was formed to build upon the enhanced focus on Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) relative to general aviation infrastructure and air charter operations development, while fostering the connection between this emerging sector and the Part 135 environment.

The committee aims to provide stakeholder input on the path forward for FBOs and airports planning to service the next generation of aircraft and address sustainable infrastructure, such as vertiports, where innovative solutions in transporting people and goods will impact the overall aviation ecosystem.

Founded in 2017, the Transformative Vertical Flight (TVF) Workshop is a community of aerospace professionals that includes technical, regulatory, and business elements have been coming together to support the potential for new forms of air transportation systems, with a focus on systems that embody distributed electric propulsion and vertiport capabilities.

The Commercial UAV Advisory Board brings together industry leaders who have insights and expertise that are key to program development around commercial UAS technology, trends, and expansion. Board members are at the top of their fields, and they are committed to delivering the high caliber education commercial UAV professionals have come to expect from Commercial UAV Expo. Following the monumental turnout last year, we are excited to have this Advisory Board in place to help guide the event and continue to deliver the best conference and expo in the UAS market.

The Emerging Technologies Committee will also consider autonomous operations, electric propulsion and other innovative technology and specifically, the integration of these new technologies into the National Airspace System (NAS). The committee will provide insights that allow NBAA to advocate on behalf of industry on rulemaking, standards setting and policy-related activities. It will also conduct educational and training sessions for NBAA members and represent the industry by liaising with industry organizations and regulators in the U.S. and globally.

Law-Tech Connect™ (LTC) is P3 Tech Consulting’s trademarked brand of techno-legal content including continuing legal education events. LTC connects people interested in advanced tech platforms with each other to collaboratively explore legal, policy and ethical issues in furtherance of full operationalization. P3 Tech Consulting held its first Law-Tech Connect Workshop at AUVSI Xponential in April 2022 and it continues to grow each year.
